ROCK STAR!
So, Brad’s brother Brian bought Rock Band. Frankly, for lack of a better word, it is mindblowingly-intenso-awesome!
I spent like 2 hours playing it at his house the other day, and we had oodles of fun singing (in Brian’s case, wailing), drumming, and pseudo-guitaring. (I personally believe that I hold the title of best air guitarist ever.) But, at one point, during a particularly intense rendition of a Nine Inch Nails song, Brian said, “Being in a real band would be so much cooler!”
Then, I remembered my dad, curmudgeonly stating, “Back in my day, kids actually learned to play REAL instruments!”
I look down at the plastic guitar I hold, with its brightly colored buttons and tactile little switchy-thing. I watch Brad thumping on the drums, and Brian stumbling through a Rolling Stones song.
And I ask myself, “Is there really any difference?”
And for that matter, does it make any difference?

Thomas Wells came in to the world on December 7, 1989, covered in goobers and various other slimy things. Not much has changed since then. When he grows up, he wants to write comic books, and never do any real work.
Silke Dayley is on the show! She is all about having fun. She’s a band student, dates a superstar, and much more!

The show with Sarah Buché. A lot of things get discussed, like the turkey gobble. Listen now, and listen loud!

A very belated show: It’s spring break. Turkey gobble, art club. Mike Reese got mentioned, Katie Fluckiger told me an amazing joke. Sarah plays Soccer, we like Mr. Nethercott, I’m still practicing Thriller for the talent show, Sarah has 2 brothers, I’m going to prom, she isn’t. I have a lot of friends on MySpace, and Tedd vinson has a band: Sizzle Fryday

It’s been 1 month and 27 days since the last episode of Meet Someone New. I know: “that’s pathetic.” Catch up on the old episodes before you start whining. If you really want to get this ball on the road, bother these people, so that they bother me:
Now for another issue: my publicity. I’ve backed off the blatent bradkovach.com promotion, but I’m fixing to start up again soon. I want more traffic, so please start posting things on MySpace like:
bradkovach.com is my favorite website in the world. I think you should all go to bradkovach.com
or you could try
I love Meet Someone New! Brad Kovach talks to people and it’s so funny! I think you should all listen to Meet Someone New!
There may be something that I’m missing, but this pretty much sums it up.
Happy Spring Break

Due to Tedd Vinson being flaky and unreliable, MSN 14 has been postponed even longer. I know. If you see Teddddddd (that’s seven D’s this time), tell him to get his act together and be on the show!
In the meantime, I offer the first episode of The Danger Zone, a new podcast by [...]
