I was reading one of my computer magazines called MacAddict and I came across an article that allows you to turn any classic iPod into a bootable Linux iPod. As far as it is known it doesn’t void your warranty and it allows you to put more games on your iPod and record from a microphone plugged into the headphone jack. It is also completely undoable and you can still listen to your music with it!
